Personal circumstances make the creation of new content for this website very problematic at the moment. The website is therefore going to sleep for the time being. Perchance to dream…

It may awaken at some point – or not, as the case may be.

During its slumbers, the website will continue to be hosted and all its content will be accessible at this URL more or less as normal.

One exception will be the page views list. Page view counts will no longer be computed. As a result the page view table will be blank and the entries in the year menus will not be displayed.

Current comments will remain, but no new comments will be able to be submitted.

My gratitude goes out to my loyal and hardy readers for their perseverance in the face of all that I have thrown at them in the course of the last five years.
