Our Figures of Speech comment system using the Slack messaging system has been discontinued with immediate effect.
At the time of the implementation of the system last November we wrote that 'whether readers find it useful or not, only time will tell'. Time has told.
The message board will be left online for a while for existing users.
– What now? Back to the drawing board?
– Off to the pub — the drawing board can wait.
